“Without doubt the best matcha green tea I’ve tried. The fact that it is organic is massively important and the premium grade of this matcha is key. Mixes well and lasts too. I’ve tried a few other brands and none of them compare to OMGTea”.

Several years ago I had an unpleasant experience with green tea (not knowing any better I had bought a box of green tea tea bags from a supermarket) – it made me feel extremely nauseous. So, when I was offered this Organic ceremonial grade Matcha Green Tea at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review I was a bit apprehensive, but, having read about the differences between culinary and ceremonial green tea I decided to try it. I am so pleased I did. This tea has a light, refreshing, pleasant taste, and definitely no nausea after drinking it! Having only tried it for a week it is too soon to know if any of the widely publicised health benefits are working, but I am definitely going to give it a go, and will purchase more when this tin runs out. Matcha green tea is renowned for its very high anti oxidant content and amazing health benefits, including weight loss, energy boosting, memory improvement among many others – its well worth researching.
I bought this product based on a friend’s recommendation and it is safe to say that OMGTEA has not disappointed. Having previously tried other brands this is far superior. The tea has a smooth texture and a fantastically vibrant colour. It has certainly given me a great natural energy boost to start my mornings and is reasonably priced for the quality of the product. I will definitely be buying again and am giving serious consideration to a subscription!
The benefits of matcha tea are well researched and documented. It lowers cholesterol, boosts energy levels, can help with wieght loss and contains 137 times the anti-oxidants of regular green tea, amongst other things. Still need a reason to drink it? Well it tastes relly good too!
I have tried lots of matcha teas and the OMG tea is by far and away the best tasting and well worth the price. I have tried cheaper ones after being initially really impressed by the OMG tea and to be honest they are still sat in my cupboard because they do not taste anywhere near as good. A 30g pot of OMG lasts me a month so it’s not that dear and I definately feel bettre for it. Trust me: treat yourself, buy it and you’ll be thankful.
