Matcha 3 Ways

We have partnered with amazing plant-based and sustainable chef, Bettina Campolucci Bordi of Bettina's Kitchen, to explore OMGTea and simple ways to enjoy it. Below are her delightful 'Matcha Made 3 Ways' recipes.

Classic Matcha

Classic Matcha is a straightforward and authentic way to enjoy the pure taste of OMGTea Matcha. Perfect for those who appreciate the traditional flavours of matcha and the ritual of Japanese tea ceremonies.

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

½ tsp AAA+ OMGTea Matcha

250ml-300ml hot water (max 80ºC)

Method

Heat your kettle to 80ºC setting, otherwise if you don’t have this setting, boil your kettle and leave for approx 10 mins to cool down (using 80º water will ensure the matcha nutrients will stay intact).

Using a tea strainer, sieve the matcha into your cup.

Using a bamboo whisk if you have one, add a small amount of water to the cup and whisk for 10-15 seconds to create a froth.  Then add the remaining water and enjoy!

Matcha Latte

Matcha lattes have become super popular and this one combines matcha with smooth, warm plant milk, creating a comforting beverage that's both tasty and easy to make.
